The mission of HAOGT is to contribute to the education of young people, through a value system based, to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in developing the society.

our Goal
The goal of HAOGT is to contribute in improving the living standard of the vulnerable communities of Petauke through community mobilization, capacity building, advocacy and strengthening of institutions at the grass root level.
Our Core Values and Strategic Approach
At the heart of HAOGT’s community service initiatives are several guiding principles:
- Community-Led Development: We believe that the most effective and sustainable solutions emerge from within the communities themselves. Therefore, local community leadership must drive and implement all our organization’s actions.
- Empowering Local Leadership: Expansion into new communities requires the proactive identification and fostering of strong local leadership. We are dedicated to nurturing these leaders to ensure long-term community resilience and self-sufficiency.
- Promoting Economic Sustainability and Independence: Our actions are meticulously designed to promote the economic sustainability and independence of local communities. We achieve this by working through local economies to provide resources. Specifically, whenever possible, we will strategically use Faith School of Healing Youth and Women Empowerment funds to purchase necessary goods and services from within the communities we serve, thereby stimulating local economic growth.
- Building Community Buy-in: Essential to our success is securing the genuine buy-in and support within the communities where we work. We engage in transparent communication and collaborative planning to ensure our programs are relevant and embraced by those we serve.
- Fostering Connections: We are committed to building robust connections between and among communities in Tanzania and abroad, facilitating knowledge sharing, collaboration, and mutual support.
- Non-Profit Best Practices: We operate with unwavering adherence to the best practices of non-profit organizations, including rigorous fiscal responsibility and stewardship, robust board development and leadership, and continuous assessment and monitoring of our programs. These are essential tenets that ensure our integrity and effectiveness.
